Guernsey Wild Gin: For-A-Gin' Fridays

Join us on Guernsey this April for a foraging and wild food and gin experience, as Luke Wheadon and Patricio Filipe, the head chef at Guernsey's Gin Hotel The Bella Luce, lead guests on a foraging walk along the leafy lanes and rugged coastline of the parish of St Martins.  These two Friday afternoon/evening experiences will involve a foraging walk during which guests will learn about and pick the wild ingredients that they'll later eat as part of their dinner, as well as a gin tasting experience in the Bella's small batch distillery learning about how we use foraged botanicals in our gins.

The foraging walk led by Luke and Patricio will leave the Bella Luce and meander through the water lanes of St Martins towards the rocky beach at Moulin Huet Bay, showcasing the wild ingredients that can be found in both hedgerows and on rocky shorelines.  Back at the Bella, following the gin tasting session, a three course dinner prepared by Patricio and his team will be served featuring some of the wild ingredients collected just a couple of hours previously within walking distance of your table.

The Bella Luce For-A-Gin' experiences will take place on Friday April 19th and Friday April 26th 2019.

Tickets for the event cost £55 per person, and can be booked directly by calling the Bella’s front desk on +44 (0)1481 238764.  Booking is essential.  Please wear stout footwear and clothing appropriate for the weather forecast.
