Its been quite a couple of years for Wheadon’s Gin. From launching in 2015, with just a couple of outlets, to now, where you can buy a bottle of Wheadon’s Christmas cheer at outlets all over the Channel Islands and also send it all over the world as well as enjoy it in almost every bar of note across the Channel Islands.

Our gins came about from Luke Wheadon's curiosity of flavour. He wanted to create a beautifully balanced gin that is all about flavour; using carefully selected botanicals to produce a spirit perfect for sipping on its own or pairing with tonic, or as the basis for your favourite gin-based cocktail. By distilling in small quantities, we are able to finely tune the flavour profile of each batch to ensure consistency and quality, crafting exquisite gins for the connoisseur.

Tasting notes

Our Rock Samphire & Pink Grapefruit Expression is complex and rounded. The rock samphire gives a minerality while the pink grapefruit gives a high note of citrus. Much like a sorbet, it is a true palette freshener. Created specifically to be enjoyed as a gin and tonic this expression is perfect served with either a traditional or Mediterranean Fever Tree Tonic, and a slice of cucumber and a wedge of grapefruit. 

Our Mandarin Lime and Hibiscus is dramatically different. Much more versatile across drinks, it has an immediate fragrance of citrus from the mandarin lime followed by a depth of flavour and floral note of hibiscus. Its tonic pairing is with an Aromatic Fever Tree Tonic.
