At the end of July Luke and Sinead travelled to London to showcase Wheadon's Gin at The Telegraph Gin Experience, which took place at the beautiful Hurlingham Club overlooking the River Thames in Fulham on July 31st and August 1st.  Billed as "the most luxurious Gin event in London", it featured a handpicked selection of just 38 gin brands (The Gin Guild estimates that there are currently over 600 UK gin brands, and 191 distilleries, so it was an honour to be invited), guided tastings, masterclasses and talks from industry experts, kicking off with a guided tasting broadcast on facebook live from the offices of The Telegraph by two of the event's hosts, Neil Ridley and Joel Harrison.  With so many events in the gin lover's calendar each year, The Telegraph Gin Experience stands apart as an opportunity for attendees to meet and speak with the people behind each gin brand, and in a relaxed and relatively uncrowded atmosphere.  With a fantastic BBQ laid on, and plenty of time to sample all of the different gins and learn more about them direct from the source, it's certainly one to put in your diary for next summer.  In the meantime, you can always pour yourself a Wheadon's and tonic, enjoy this year's event through some of The Telegraph's wonderful photographs, and just imagine that you were there.  Scroll on, for the gallery!
